Welcome to the Association of Unitarian Universalist Administrators (AUUA) website. We are a network of approximately 291 UU administrators serving many different sized congregations and some regional offices across the U.S. and Canada. Our mission is to support and strengthen Unitarian Universalism through effective administration.
If you are a UU administrator but not yet a member of the AUUA, we invite you to join. Our dues are very reasonable considering the benefits of membership, which include a vibrant listserv through which members pose questions they encounter in their work and others share their experience, providing best practices discovered through their experience. We also have a resource library with many templates for job descriptions, policies, forms and other useful information. In June each year, just before the UUA General Assembly, the AUUA offers a professional development program (ProDays), which provides up to date information on current issues facing administrators and also an opportunity for networking and building relationships. Perhaps most importantly, by becoming a member of the AUUA, you join a community of people in similar jobs who will support and encourage you. To join, just click on the Join tab on the homepage.
